Producer Services
Welcome UCC Producer!

At UCC we are constantly working to develop and implement new technology into our Insurance Business. Below are some of the new services that this technology has allowed us to offer our producers.
Our goal is to be your company of choice for Personal Auto and Commercial Auto business!
We offer several time-saving services that allow you to efficiently and quickly write business with UCC. From new policy issuance to processing installment payments, checking on the status of endorsement requests, filing claims reports or renewing policies.
A limited amount of auto ID holders are available. Please contact your Marketing Representative or email supplies@univcas.com for availability.

Here are some of those services:

Passport - Passport is Universal's on-line producer information service. Passport gives producers access to their Universal policies via the internet. Producers can look up specific policies for valuable information needed in day to day operations including: billing, endorsements and notices, claims, status and more!
Producers can also run agency reports on uploaded down payments via POS, new business policies, cancellations and renewals. Business forms, underwriting guidelines, and access to our P3 Online Payment Processing service are also available through Passport and is functional 24/7.

Point of Sale - POS allows producers to upload applications to Universal, verify prices by running underwriting reports online and issue policies on behalf of Universal in their offices. Producers are able to print off the permanent declarations pages and ID cards and present those along with the policy to their clients when selling the policy, virtually eliminating rate surprises and follow-up work.

P3 Online Payment Processing - So much of the time and energy we expend servicing policies involves taking payments from our customers. On an annual policy in our direct bill program we take one down payment but typically process ten installment payments. It also takes the US Postal service from 2 to 12 days to deliver mail from our producers to us. For these reasons we have developed the P3 Online Payment Processing system for all direct bill producers. P3 allows producers/agents to upload payments directly to Universal, avoiding cancellations and reinstatements for late paying insureds and eliminates the delay in delivery from the US postal service. Uploaded funds are electronically transferred from the premium account designated by the Producer.

On-Line Loss Reporting - Now Universal Producers can file initial loss reports on line! At certain times of the day and week our initial loss report takers are very busy, and getting through to report a new claim can be frustrating. We now have a high tech solution whereby UCC Claims Department can take an initial loss report via the website and get the process of claims settlement started.

On-Line Renewals( ORS) - Since early February 2005 UCC has had a system to process renewals online. Similar to POS, ORS allows agents to activate renewal policies in the comfort of their offices. ORS is accessible from the producer's Passport account on the individual policy search screen. ORS can only be used for renewals without any changes. This exciting new system verifies underwriting information and produces the renewal declarations pages and ID cards to be presented to customers in the producer's offices.

Commercial Auto Online Rating - Commercial Universal agents can log in to the Universal system to create quick quotes for commercial auto polices. These quotes can than be submitted online to Universal Commercial Underwriting for approval and issuance. Please see your commercial marketing representative for further information.
